The script of TOMORROW NEVER CAME, is 2nd of the trilogy and the story is loosely based from Bryan's days in the fall semester at George Mason Univ. The news passed through the Vietnamese club.
Through researched online Bryan found an article "The Words My Father Said To Me When I Was Suicidal" a memoir by Chris Lee (The Mighty, Yahoo!). He reached out to Chris, asking permission to use some parts of the article into the screenplay.
The title comes from Bryan's love and the fan of Justin Lin's BETTER LUCK TOMORROW and renowned film critic Rogert Ebert's favorites in 2002. It has no similarity with characters or plot, and the only match is likely the title TOMORROW.
